Happy Hour: Pepper Basil Caipirinha

Pepper Basil Caipirinha

Ingredients:
- 2 oz Cachaca muddled
- 1 oz lime
- 1 bar spoon sugar
- 10 basil leaves
- 1 bar spoon white pepper corns
Garnish: Basil leave

Muddle 1 bar spoon of white pepper corns and add sugar, 1 lime quarters and basil leaves. Adde cachaca and 1 oz lime juice. Shake the mixture and strain into a rocks glass over ice. Each floral designer was given a bridesmaid dress to use as inspiration for a tablescape design. These designs are truly stunning and proving once and for all that inspiration really can come from anything...even a dress!

One of my absolute favorite giveaways in my goodie bag was the gift from Fresh. First of all, the box was so pretty, I didn't want to open it. When I did, I was blown away. It contained their wonderful brown suger body polish (that I can not wait to use), a tube of their mascara and lip gloss and their soy-based facial cleanser. But the kicker for me was their sumptuous citron de vigne eau de parfum (shown above)! It smells like heaven and I love perfume. They have a customer for life.

I loved the giveaway from Hallak Cleaners. They included information on gown preservation, stain removal tips, a lint brush and sewing kit, along with a tiny satchel of potpourri.
