I love how regal and majestic these gowns look by Sue Wong. If you are looking for a dress that has that certain flair and wow factor, then her dresses are certainly for you. See her entire Spring 2010 collection on her web site. You can also find spring collection and her Alice in Wonderland collection for Disney at Bloomies.
I was watching "Sex in the City" for the hundreth time last weekend and my favorite dress from the Vogue wedding shoot was the Christian Lacroix dress. It is simply amazing.
As promised, I wanted to give major shout-outs over the next two weeks to the amazing vendors that helped to make the B-List conference such a big success. Today's spotlight in on an amazing British designer, Sam Walls Beasley. I met her and she was the most delightful person. You can tell that there is so much love that goes into her custom designed gowns. Find out more about her on her web site. These are my favs:
Seriously, a computer engineer designed these amazing gowns. What does a computer engineer know about fashion? Obviously, quite a bit, huh? Nere Emiko has a master's degree in computer and electrical engineering. This Austin gal put a smile on my face with these gorgeous gowns. These are my favorites. See the entire collection here.
The Bridal Wishlist's pick for Designer of the Year in the Fantasy category is Sharon Bowen. Bowen's designs had unique silhouettes, unexpected ruffles, adorned with feathers, or the like. This talented British fashion designer was educated in Paris and it is so apparent. Her styling is very French and has that Parisian flair. But she is a Brit, through and through. Her gowns are stunning. Her collections are a must see. See it all here.
The Bridal Wishlist's pick for Designer of the Year in the Glamour category is French designer (by way of Italy) Giambattista Valli. He put glamour back into wedding dresses. I especially love that he isn't a bridal designer. But does he get it or what? His dresses are just gorgeous. See his entire collection here.
The Bridal Wishlist's pick for Designer of the Year in the Traditional category is Le spose di Gio. Beautiful sleek lines and lots of lace make these dresses the mark of wondrous bridal tradition. Mark Ingram's Bridal Atelier in NYC carries these Italian works of art. Visit their web site to view this amazing collection of dresses. These are my favorites.
